Latakia Port has recorded notable activity since the beginning of 2026, receiving 394 vessels and handling approximately 2.86 million tons of cargo, along with more than 171,000 containers.
These figures reflect growing maritime transportation and cargo-handling activity and highlight the port’s important role in supporting trade, imports, and exports.
The increased level of activity also strengthens Latakia Port’s position within the maritime transportation and supply chain network, supporting the movement of goods to and from domestic and international markets.
At Al Tayseer Logistics, we continuously follow developments across ports and maritime transportation to stay ahead of changes affecting shipping and trade and to provide efficient logistics solutions for our clients.
