The maritime sector in Tartous has recorded more than 22,000 maritime services since November 2025, according to the General Directorate of Ports – Tartous Branch.
These services included the issuance of official documents and certificates, as well as the completion of transactions related to maritime activities and seafarers, reflecting the scale of activity and services connected to the sector.
The figures highlight the importance of maritime services in supporting sea transportation and logistics, while facilitating port-related and maritime operations.
They also reflect continued activity in the maritime sector and the role of Syrian ports in supporting trade, transportation, and supply chains.
