The General Authority for Land and Sea Ports – General Customs Administration has issued a new decision aimed at simplifying customs procedures and improving the movement of imported goods.
Under the decision, a number of product categories may now enter through the Jdeidet Yabous border crossing without transshipment, following requests from customs clearance companies and in accordance with the directives of the relevant authorities.
The approved goods include:
- Chemical materials
- Solar panels
- Batteries
- Spare parts
- Granite slabs
- Glass panels
- Marble and broken marble
- Machinery and factory components
- Tissue paper rolls
The decision is intended to facilitate import operations and support commercial activity, positively contributing to business operations and supply chain efficiency.
